Sex, Vlogs and Videotape.

Update -- some of these links may no longer work. If not, do a google search to find their new homes.

Well, not so much about the sex. . .

There are web logs (Blogs). . .which it helps if you update regulary. . .which I haven't . . . because I keep getting distracted by that job thing that takes up all my precious blogging time not to mention limits unique experiences for worthwhile entries. Oh! What a vicious circle!!

And there are video web logs (Vlogs).

As soon as I develop the discipline and the extra hours to keep up regularly with the blog, then I'll go for the video blog. Or when I get that vlog endowment . . .you know, the one I've not applied for. No doubt the cash will arrive right about the time I win the lottery with the tickets that I don't buy. And this will be followed shortly by the mega-corporation that wants to throw advertising dollars to capture my vast demographic.

Anyway, since my blog isn't offering anything new at the moment, here's some of the hip and cool vlogs to keep you occupied, give you an excuse to buy the video iPod, and will make you sound like you’re very hip and in the know.

Rocketboom: Before Drew chased off Amanda, it was greatest blog on the www-computer-internets. Now with Joanne it’s still good, but. . . think of it like ER before and after George Cloony left: same stories, different actors, but struggling to replace the charisma people tuned in for. Check out the archive. You’ll see what I mean. Here’s what Amanda is up to now, but (sorry Amanda) so far it’s more like Wings than the Beatles. still, I believe it's a temporary project. Maybe the next project will put her over the top.

Jet Set Show.A show for gifted teens or average adults in the vein of the Electric Company or Mr. Rodger’s Neighborhood . . . if Mr. Rodgers had a myspace account.

RSSnews: All the grown up stuff they can't do on Jet Set.

Chasing Windmills. This one's different. Imagine Steven Soderbergh directing Curb Your Enthusiasm: Read the review and then link to the sight and see what you think.

Steve Garfield: When the web replaces television (which is what video bloggers believe will happen) Steve Garfield will be PBS. Again, here’s a review and then you can check out the site.

Rabbit Bites: Rabbits. News. Broadcast in Carrot Vision. Need I say more?

Tiki Bar: The ultimate how-to blog. Animal House for 21st century.

Welcome to Amyville. Clever woman. Cool music.

Ask-a-Ninja: If video blogs were clothing in high school, this one would be that little alligator on the golf shirt that everyone says isn’t cool but secretly wishes they had so they could sit at the table with the popular kids.

The Richard Show: The video equivilant of amatur photography -- or could maybe be called daddy cast. . .

the show with zefrank: The Harley-Davidson of vlogs. . .with duckies.
